In IT field we software engineers are so tied up with our laptops and chairs that when we notice about ourselves we are already 30+, have a tire below our chest and are tired upon reaching home. Our daily routine may start from 6 am or 10 am but we end by 11 PM.
I also realized this when I got similar body situation and found that I am becoming prone to high cholesterol, high BP and high Sugar. Therefore I became a fan of home made food, reduced oil and started gym. But all this ran for few months only, specially gym.
Upon changing my office and opting for GM Diet twice I got my weight under control. Few tips I would suggest to IT guys based on my experiences in this area:

- Commute via bicycle. Try to go to office by bicycle at least 2-5 times a week. It would make you some sweat, and keep your legs and leg joints running.
- Keep a pair of clothes with you as you may like to change clothes before entering in your desk. You can also carry a pollution mask to avoid the dust getting into your nose.
- It would save daily jogging and aerobics time in gym.
- It would also save some fuel and save your pocket as well as environment.
- You can also opt for cycling over weekends too.
- Take dinner 2-3 hours before bed time. You can take dinner in office itself if you get late for home daily. It would have magical effects on your belly and you would loose weight.
- Drink 2-3 liters water daily. Keep a water bottle and drink it constantly. I prefer a half liter bottle with enough opening to fit in my mouth.
- It would help your kidney
- It would keep your weight in control
- You would not feel too much hungry
- You would look more young.
- Try to get up early in morning and do your work in morning than in night.
- Do some quick seating exercises, like stretching on chair etc.
- Go for GM diet to loose weight quickly. It may be touch specially on second day, but other days pass like a breeze and you would loose 4-8 kg weight in just 7 days.

- Download app from google play also to find out what to buy and what to eat.
- Best practice is to buy all fruits and vegetables in beginning and don't spend anything until the 7 days fast is over.
- Reduce alcohol and smoking, and try to stop completely. Avoid fatty food whenever possible, take eggs and paneer.
These all are myself tested experiences and I do these on regular basis. I hope you can also benefit from these.
